What We Do

NEEEI works at the intersection of policy insight and on-the-ground experience.

The Institute collaborates with agencies, implementers, and community organizations to improve coordination and address barriers that limit program effectiveness.

Our work includes:

  • Identifying barriers that limit access to energy-efficiency and electrification programs
  • Participating in and supporting pilot efforts to improve delivery in underserved housing segments
  • Working collaboratively with agencies and organizations to strengthen coordination
  • Sharing lessons learned across states to help inform future program design and implementation

Our aim is practical improvement: helping clean energy systems work better for the people they are meant to serve.
